Our First Time in Bangkok, Thailand. After a LONG 30-Hour Travel day from Europe, we spend our first full day in Bangkok resting and relaxing. But we still want to explore some of the beautiful city of Bangkok, Thailand. Especially since it's our first time in Bangkok!
We will be in Bangkok for a while, so we want to get the girls some toys to play with for the month we'll be here. We get a little sticker shock from the prices of name-brand toys. But maybe it was the Paragon Mall we went to? We went to Siam Paragon. Siam Paragon is a shopping mall in Bangkok, Thailand. It is one of the largest malls in Thailand, along with IconSiam, CentralWorld, and CentralPlaza Westgate.
We also need to learn how to navigate the BTS, including buying tickets and finding the right stops. The Bangkok Mass Transit System, commonly known as the BTS Skytrain, is an elevated rapid transit system in Bangkok, Thailand. It turns out it's SO easy and SO lovely! All the ticket machines have a BIG button for English! Thais are so helpful to us, useless farang!
The girls got some legos, and Lindsay and I had a heartfelt conversation while they played with these new toys. We talk about our feelings about traveling to Bangkok for the first time and how scary it may seem before you come. Thanks for watching!
