Best Things to Do in Los Angeles on Klook (Plus Which City Pass Is Actually Worth It)
Two city passes, one sprawling city. Here's how to figure out which Klook pass makes sense for your LA trip, plus the best activities to book for spring and summer.
Los Angeles is one of those cities that looks easy on paper and then absolutely humbles you the moment you try to plan it. The sheer spread of the place, from Hollywood to Santa Monica to Anaheim, means that without a bit of structure you can burn a whole day getting between two things that are technically both in LA. Add kids to the mix and every decision gets magnified. Theme parks, studios, the beach, the hills, the aquarium, the observatory. There is a lot here.
This is part of our ongoing Klook city series. We covered Singapore and Tokyo earlier in the series, and now we're looking at Los Angeles, which is an interesting one because there are actually two different passes worth knowing about: the Klook Pass Los Angeles and the Go City Los Angeles All-Inclusive Pass, both available through Klook. They work quite differently, so we'll break down which makes sense for which kind of trip. Use code ADAMANDLINDSKLOOK at Klook checkout for savings on any booking.
The Two LA City Passes on Klook: What's the Difference?
Before diving into the individual attractions, it helps to understand the pass structure, because these two options are genuinely different products.
The Klook Pass Los Angeles works like the Greater Tokyo pass we covered previously: you choose 2, 3, 4, or 5 specific attractions from a curated list. The list includes big-ticket items like Disneyland California, Universal Studios Hollywood, and Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood. You pick your combination and save compared to individual prices. Starting from $104 USD, activate within 60 days of purchase and you get 90 days to use your redemptions. Free cancellation before redemption.
The Go City Los Angeles All-Inclusive Pass is a different model entirely. From $96.59 USD, it gives you unlimited access to over 39 attractions across 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or 7 days. Non-consecutive days are allowed within a 2-week period, which is actually quite flexible. The standard pass covers 39+ activities; the All-Inclusive Plus version adds Universal Studios Hollywood, San Diego Zoo, and LEGOLAND California for a higher tier price. Rated 4.7/5 across 737 reviews.
| Pass | Starting Price | How It Works | Best For | Rating |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Klook Pass LA | From $104 USD | Choose 2-5 specific attractions | Focused itineraries, big-ticket combos | 4.3/5 |
| Go City All-Inclusive | From $96.59 USD | Unlimited access, 39+ attractions | Busy itineraries, multiple days, variety | 4.7/5 |
The Go City pass tends to make more sense if you're spending multiple days in LA and want to bounce between a mix of smaller and larger attractions. The Klook Pass is better if your trip is built around two or three specific blockbuster experiences, like Disneyland plus Universal, and you want to lock in those exactly.
Universal Studios Hollywood
This is the one that usually anchors a family trip to LA, and for good reason. Universal Studios Hollywood is a real working movie studio and theme park in one place, which gives it a slightly different energy from a pure theme park. The Studio Tour through actual working sets and backlots is genuinely interesting even for adults who've seen a lot of parks.
The headline attractions right now are SUPER NINTENDO WORLD (complete with Mario Kart: Bowser's Challenge), The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, and Jurassic World: The Ride. General admission runs $95.55 through Klook. The Universal Express add-on gets you one-time express access to each ride if you want to sidestep the main queues, and the full VIP Experience includes gourmet lunch, backstage access, and unlimited express passes for a significant premium. Rated 4.8/5 across 5,600+ reviews.
Practical note: SUPER NINTENDO WORLD fills up fast. Get there when the park opens and head there first. The app tracks wait times and is worth downloading before you arrive. Universal is included in both the Klook Pass LA and the Go City All-Inclusive Plus.
Disneyland California
We've done Disney parks across Japan, Paris, and the US, and the original California resort holds a special place. Disneyland Park has 9 themed lands and 50+ attractions. Disney California Adventure sits right next door with Avengers Campus, the Incredicoaster, and Pixar Pier. Individual tickets through Klook start at $102.85 for a 1-day, 1-park ticket, with Park Hopper options available.
The current highlights include Tiana's Bayou Adventure, Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, and Mickey's Toontown, which was recently reimagined. The resort is also in the middle of its 70th Anniversary celebrations, which brings extra entertainment including the Paint the Night parade and World of Color shows. Rated 4.8/5 across nearly 6,000 reviews on Klook.
Disney is one of the Premium inclusions on the Klook Pass LA. For families doing Disney plus one or two other major attractions, running the numbers on the pass vs. individual tickets is always worth doing. Book your Disney park reservation immediately after purchasing tickets, as date-specific reservations are required and availability fills up.
Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood
The Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood is a different kind of experience from the theme parks and one that often surprises people. This is an actual working studio lot in Burbank, and the guided tour takes you through real sound stages, the iconic Friends fountain and Central Perk set, Stars Hollow from Gilmore Girls, the Batcave, Harry Potter props and costumes, and considerably more. It's about 3 hours and runs $76 per person through Klook with free cancellation up to 72 hours before. Rated 4.7/5 across 393 reviews.
It's a particularly good choice if your group has Friends fans, Harry Potter fans, or anyone who's broadly interested in how film and TV production actually works. The Stage 48 interactive section where you sit on the actual Big Bang Theory couch and get sorted by the Hogwarts Sorting Hat is genuinely enjoyable. Included in both the Klook Pass LA and the Go City All-Inclusive pass.
Go City All-Inclusive Pass: What Else Is Covered?
Beyond the big three theme parks and studio tours, the Go City All-Inclusive pass opens up a lot of the broader LA experience. The standard (non-Plus) pass includes Madame Tussauds Hollywood, Knott's Berry Farm, the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach, and 35+ more activities. For families spending 3 to 5 days exploring the wider LA area, it can deliver strong value by filling in the gaps between the blockbuster days.
The All-Inclusive Plus upgrades the standard pass with Universal Studios Hollywood, San Diego Zoo, and LEGOLAND California added in. If your trip includes any of those three on top of the general LA activities, the Plus version is worth pricing out carefully against individual tickets.
Aquarium of the Pacific
The Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach is a solid half-day option, particularly for younger kids or as a breather between bigger theme park days. Over 12,000 animals across three Pacific regions, plus the Honda Pacific Visions 180-degree theater included free with admission. The Shark Lagoon touch pools are a highlight for kids. At $44.95 per person through Klook, it's also one of the more reasonably priced standalone attractions in the LA area. Rated 4.4/5 across 83 reviews. Included in the Go City All-Inclusive pass.
Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour
The Los Angeles Big Bus Hop-On Hop-Off open-top bus is a practical way to get a handle on the city's geography, especially if it's your first time in LA. Two routes, multilingual audio guides, and 24 or 48-hour passes from $56. Rated 4.4/5 across 126 reviews. It won't replace a car for actually getting around LA, but as an orientation tool on arrival or a low-pressure day activity it works well. Also included in the Go City All-Inclusive pass.
Half-Day LA Sightseeing Tour
If you want a guided introduction to the city that covers the Hollywood Sign, Santa Monica Pier, Griffith Observatory, and The Grove in a single morning or afternoon, the Best of Los Angeles Half-Day Sightseeing Tour is worth a look. Air-conditioned bus, Hollywood native guides, all the iconic photo stops. Runs $63.20 through Klook with free cancellation up to 24 hours prior. Rated 4.8/5 across 52 reviews. Good for the first morning of a trip when you want context before diving into the individual attractions.
Palm Springs Aerial Tramway (Day Trip)
This one is a bit of a wildcard on the list but it's genuinely excellent for families who want a break from city activities. The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway is about 2 hours from central LA and takes you up 4km along the cliffs of Chino Canyon on the world's largest rotating tram car to a mountain station at 2,596 metres. The temperature drop alone is worth it in summer. Hiking trails, an observation deck, a natural history museum, and a mountaintop restaurant await at the top. At $34.85 per person it's one of the best-value days out from LA. Rated a perfect 5/5 from 22 reviews on Klook. No cancellation, so book when you're confident of the day.

Which Pass Should You Buy for LA?
The honest answer depends on your trip shape. Here's how to think about it.
Go with the Klook Pass LA if your trip is built around two or three specific big-ticket experiences, particularly if Disneyland is one of them. Disneyland is only on the Klook Pass, not Go City, so if that's a must-do, your decision is partially made. A 3-attraction Klook Pass covering Disneyland, Universal, and Warner Bros. gives you three full days of major experiences at a meaningful discount versus individual pricing.
Go with the Go City All-Inclusive Pass if you're spending 3+ days and want flexibility to mix theme parks with cultural and sightseeing activities. The 39+ attractions and non-consecutive day structure make it genuinely versatile. The Plus version is worth it specifically if Universal, San Diego Zoo, or LEGOLAND are on your list alongside the standard attractions.
If in doubt, add up your planned individual ticket prices and compare. That calculation usually makes the answer obvious pretty quickly.
Spring and Summer in LA: What to Know
Spring is genuinely the best time to visit LA for most people. March through May brings mild temperatures, lower crowds than summer, and long daylight hours without the heat. Summer (June through August) is peak season: school holidays mean Universal and Disneyland get genuinely busy, and Southern California heat can make outdoor activities uncomfortable in the middle of the day. June Gloom is also a real phenomenon along the coast, where marine layer keeps the coast overcast through late morning most days.
If you're visiting in summer, book your Disney reservations and Universal tickets as far in advance as possible. Both parks can sell out completely on peak dates. The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway is actually a great summer choice specifically because the mountain station is substantially cooler than the desert below.

Our Take
LA is a city that rewards planning in a way that very few destinations actually do. The distances are real, the parks are big, and the costs add up fast if you're going in without a strategy. The pass options available through Klook give you a legitimate way to pull the budget back into shape, particularly for families where every ticket is multiplied by five.
We did our US cross-country road trip back in 2023 driving through Indiana, Wisconsin, South Dakota, Utah, Arizona, and Nevada before finishing in Las Vegas before flying to Japan. California is firmly on the list for a proper visit with the girls, and when we do it, the pass maths on this one is already done.
