Holafly Plans is a monthly subscription that puts 160+ destinations on one eSIM, instead of buying a separate eSIM every time you cross a border. It costs $49.90 a month for 25GB or $64.90 a month for unlimited data. We rate it 4.5 out of 5, and the deciding question is not how good it is but how often you travel.
The short version of our verdict: if you buy four or more destination eSIMs a year, the subscription is cheaper and far less annoying. If you take two or three trips a year and spend the rest of the time at home on your normal carrier, buy a destination eSIM per trip instead. We last checked pricing and applied the code at Holafly's checkout on July 25, 2026.

Check Holafly Plans pricingWhat Holafly Plans actually is
Holafly sells two different things and the names do not make the difference obvious. The first is the destination eSIM: you pick a country or region, pick 1 to 90 days, and buy it for that trip. Those cover 200+ destinations and are what most people mean when they say they bought a Holafly.
Plans is the second product. One eSIM stays installed on your phone and keeps working as you move between 160+ destinations, billed monthly or annually like a phone contract. Nothing to reinstall at a border, nothing to re-buy when the itinerary changes. Holafly describes itself as the world's first international mobile operator, and Plans is the product that argument rests on.
What it costs
| Tier | Monthly | Annual billing | Annual plus code |
|---|---|---|---|
| Light, 25GB | $49.90 | about $42.42 | about $38.17 |
| Unlimited | $64.90 | about $55.17 | about $49.65 |
Annual billing is discounted by Holafly at 15%. The code then takes a further 10% off that already reduced price in the cart, which lands the combined saving at about 23.5%. On the Unlimited tier that moves the cost of unlimited data across 160+ destinations from $2.16 a day to about $1.66 a day.

The tier our family runs. Uploads, video calls and hotspot for the kids' school devices without watching a meter.
Get UnlimitedWhat each tier includes
| Feature | Light | Unlimited |
|---|---|---|
| Data | 25GB per month | Unlimited |
| Hotspot | Included | Included |
| Destinations | 160+ | 160+ |
| eSIMs to manage | One, worldwide | One, worldwide |
| Number for incoming SMS | Not included | US, UK, or Canada |
| Billing | Monthly or annual | Monthly or annual |
| Always On fallback | Yes | Yes |
Two of those rows matter more than the rest. The Unlimited tier adds a US, UK, or Canada number that receives SMS, which covers the two-factor authentication codes that banks and airlines insist on sending by text. It is inbound SMS only, and the Light tier does not include a number. And Always On is the reason cancelling is not a hard stop: when a subscription ends the eSIM drops to 1GB a month across 150+ destinations, free and with no expiry, so you land somewhere with something rather than nothing.
Hotspot is the line item that decides this for families. One subscription on one phone connects the laptops and tablets behind it, which is why a single Unlimited subscription covers all five of us rather than five separate purchases. Full detail on the fallback tier is in our Always On explainer.
Who it is for, and who should skip it
The threshold is roughly four destination eSIMs a year. Below that, buying per trip costs less and you are not paying for months when you are sitting at home on a normal carrier. Above it, the subscription wins on price and stops the low-grade admin of buying, installing and expiring a new eSIM every few weeks.
The second case for it has nothing to do with money. When an itinerary changes mid-trip, a destination eSIM you already bought becomes the wrong eSIM. On a subscription the change costs nothing, because the coverage moves with you. That is worth more than the price difference to anyone whose plans shift often.
Skip it if you need a local number for local apps and deliveries, if you are staying in one country for a month or more where a local carrier plan beats any travel eSIM on price, or if your destinations sit in the gap between the 160+ Plans covers and the 200+ the destination eSIMs cover.
How the annual discount and the code stack
The common question is whether a promo code cancels out the annual discount. It does not. Choosing annual over monthly takes 15% off first, then the code comes off that already discounted price in the cart, so both land on the same order.
On the Unlimited tier that runs $64.90 at full monthly price, down to about $55.17 a month equivalent on annual billing, down to about $49.65 with the code applied. Over a year that gap is the difference between paying for twelve months and paying for roughly nine.
Plans or a destination eSIM?
| Destination eSIM | Plans | |
|---|---|---|
| Best for | Trip by trip | Continuous travel |
| Coverage | 200+ destinations | 160+ destinations |
| Length | 1 to 90 days | Monthly or annual |
| eSIMs to manage | One per trip | One, always |
| Code saves | 5% | 10% |
The coverage gap is the honest mark against Plans. Destination eSIMs reach 200+ places, Plans reaches 160+, and if you regularly travel to somewhere in that difference the per-trip product gives you more room. For the main corridors through Europe, Asia and the Americas, Plans covers it.
How to subscribe
Open the Holafly Plans page
Plans sits separately from the destination eSIMs, so make sure you are on the subscription product and not a per-country one.
Pick Light or Unlimited
Light is 25GB a month. Unlimited has no cap. Both include hotspot and both cover the same 160+ destinations.
Choose annual billing
This is where the 15% comes from. Skip it if you want the freedom to cancel monthly, and accept the higher rate.
Enter ADAMANDLINDS at checkout
Type the code in the discount field before paying. It applies on top of the annual price, so confirm the total dropped again in the order summary.
Install on Wi-Fi before you fly
The eSIM arrives as a QR code. Install it at home rather than in an arrivals hall with no connection.
The code is not limited to first orders, so it still applies on a renewal or when moving between tiers.

Holafly Plans questions, answered
A subscription eSIM covering 160+ destinations on a single eSIM. It is a different product from Holafly's destination eSIMs, which are bought per country or region for 1 to 90 days and cover 200+ destinations.
Light is $49.90 a month for 25GB, Unlimited is $64.90 a month. Annual billing takes 15% off, then code ADAMANDLINDS takes a further 10% off that discounted price in the cart, for about 23.5% off in total.
It is worth it if you cross borders often enough that you would otherwise buy four or more destination eSIMs a year. For two or three trips a year with the rest of the time at home on your normal carrier, a destination eSIM per trip costs less.
Yes. Both tiers include hotspot, so you can share the connection with a laptop or tablet.
A fallback that activates when a subscription ends. It gives 1GB of free data per month across 150+ destinations with no expiry, so the eSIM keeps working between subscriptions.
The Unlimited tier includes a US, UK, or Canada number that receives SMS, which covers two-factor authentication codes. It is inbound SMS only, and the Light tier does not include a number. Voice calls over the network are not supported on either tier, but calls through WhatsApp, FaceTime and similar apps work normally.
One. The same eSIM stays installed and keeps working as you move between the 160+ covered destinations, so there is nothing to reinstall at a border.
